Mr. Winningham is a Managing Director in Houlihan Lokey’s London office, where he is Co-Head of Corporate Finance, Europe. He is responsible for the development of the firm’s local and cross-border M&A and financing business in the region.
Before joining Houlihan Lokey, Mr. Winningham worked at Lloyds Banking Group, where he was head of Major Corporates, overseeing the group’s coverage of UK and US investment grade corporate clients. Prior to this, he was global head of Lloyds Banking Group’s financial institutions business.
Mr. Winningham has over three decades of experience in investment banking and commercial banking. Prior to Lloyds Banking Group, he was group head of the Asia industrials and M&A groups at Salomon Brothers/Citigroup in Hong Kong. He has also held leadership roles at Paine Webber Inc. and Kidder Peabody & Co. in New York (both now part of the UBS Group). He started his investment banking career at Drexel Burnham Lambert.
Mr. Winningham serves on the Board of Directors of Teleperformance S.A. in Paris, and is joining the board of The Paddington Development Trust in London. Previously, he served on the boards of directors of The National Academy Museum and School and City Harvest, both in New York.
Mr. Winningham holds a MBA from Columbia University and a B.A. from Colgate University in New York. He has also undertaken additional graduate level studies in economics at New York University.
